A little about us

In 1963 Saint Michael's Singers was formed in Coventry Cathedral. Over 50 years laster Saint Michael's Singers would become Coventry Cathedral Chorus. Coventry Cathedral Chorus is an ensemble of around eighty auditioned voices. 


One of the UK's leading choirs, Coventry Cathedral Chorus performs regularly in Coventry Cathedral and at other venues in the English Midlands area. Coventry Cathedral Chorus has made many recordings over the years which still feature on radio stations all around the world.

After 37 years under the musical direction of Paul Leddington Wright a new era begins for Coventry Cathedral Chorus as Rachel Mahon, Director of Music at Coventry Cathedral, takes over the baton.
